Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 28, 2025

At Claude-AI.Chat (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Claude-AI.Chat website (the “Site”), how we use and share that information, and your rights under global data protection laws (such as the GDPR and CCPA). You do not need to create an account or provide personal information to use Claude-AI.Chat, but we do collect certain data as described below. By using our Site, you agree to the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy.

1. Who We Are

Claude AI Chat is an independent educational platform that provides information and guides about Claude AI and related technologies. We are not affiliated with Anthropic or any other AI provider. For the purposes of data protection laws, Claude-AI.Chat (operated by the Claude-AI.Chat team) is the “data controller” of your personal information collected on this Site.

2. Information We Collect

We collect both personal information (information that can identify you) and non-personal information when you interact with our Site. Since no account registration is required, the personal data we collect is limited to what you voluntarily provide and data collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

Information You Provide Voluntarily: This includes details you may submit through our contact forms or other interactions:

  • Contact Data: Your name and email address (for example, when you send us a message via a contact form or subscribe to a newsletter).
  • Messages and Feedback: Any personal information you include in communications with us (such as inquiries, feedback, or support requests).

Information Collected Automatically: When you visit or use our Site, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information, such as:

  • Device and Browser Information: Your IP address, browser type and version, device type, and operating system.
  • Usage Data: Pages or content you view, the dates/times of your visits, the time spent on each page, and the page you visited immediately before navigating to our Site (referring URL).
  • Cookies and Tracking: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect data on how you interact with the Site. This includes data collected by third-party analytics and advertising services like Google Analytics and Google AdSense.

This automatically collected information helps us understand how users engage with our Site and enables our analytics and ad partners to function properly, as described below.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To Provide and Improve Our Services: We analyze usage data to maintain and improve the functionality, performance, and content of our website. This helps us fix technical issues, optimize user experience, and develop new features or content that better serve our users.
  • To Respond to You: If you contact us with a question, request, or feedback, we use your contact information to respond and address your inquiries.
  • Analytics: We use data (including through Google Analytics) to understand website traffic and usage patterns, such as which pages are most popular or how users navigate the Site. This insight allows us to make informed decisions about our content and design.
  • Advertising: We display relevant advertisements through Google AdSense and possibly other advertising partners. Data (including cookie identifiers and browsing info) is used to show you ads that are more likely to interest you (this is also known as interest-based or personalized advertising).
  • Site Security and Fraud Prevention: Information (like IP addresses and user activity logs) may be used to monitor and protect the security and integrity of our Site, such as detecting and preventing fraudulent or malicious activity.
  • Legal Compliance: Where necessary, we may use your data to comply with legal obligations, such as enforcing our Terms of Service, or to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing or profit. We only use and share your data as described in this Policy and for the purposes explained to you.

4. Data Sharing and International Transfers

We value your privacy and limit the sharing of your information. We will not share or disclose your personal data to third parties except in the circumstances described below:

  • Service Providers: We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf. This includes, for example, website hosting companies, technical support, analytics services (such as Google Analytics), and advertising networks (such as Google AdSense) that enable us to deliver content and ads. These partners process data only under our instructions and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and they are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and secure.
  • Advertising Partners: As noted, third-party vendors including Google automatically receive certain data when ads are served on our Site. For instance, when Google AdSense places ads, it may collect your device identifiers or browsing data to personalize ads (see Section 6 on Advertising for details). Such third parties are independent data controllers of the information they collect through their tools, and their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or legal process, or if we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal obligations, (ii) respond to valid legal requests (e.g., subpoenas, court orders) from law enforcement or other authorities, (iii) protect and defend our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or others, or (iv) investigate and help prevent security threats, fraud, or other malicious activity.
  • Business Transfers: If Claude-AI.Chat is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or other business transaction, user information (which may include your personal data) could be among the assets transferred to the new owner. If such a transfer occurs, we will require that your data remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and we will notify you (for example, via a notice on our Site) of any significant changes.

International Data Transfers: Claude-AI.Chat is accessible to users around the world. Please be aware that your information may be transferred to and stored on servers in countries outside of your own, including the United States. This means your data could be processed in jurisdictions that have different data protection laws than your home country. For example, information collected within the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom may be transferred to the United States or other countries where our third-party service providers (like Google) operate.

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or another region with data transfer restrictions, we will take appropriate measures to ensure that your personal data remains protected in line with EU/UK data protection standards when it is transferred abroad. These measures may include relying on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved legal mechanisms to safeguard data during international transfer. Our goal is to ensure your personal information enjoys a high level of protection wherever it is processed.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

What Are Cookies: Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device’s browser to store information. Claude-AI.Chat uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons or local storage) to enhance your browsing experience and enable certain functionalities.

How We Use Cookies: Cookies on our Site serve several purposes, including:

  • Remembering Preferences: Cookies help remember your settings and preferences (e.g. language or display choices) so that you have a personalized experience without re-entering information on each visit.
  • Performance and Analytics: We use cookies to understand how visitors navigate our Site and to gather usage data (page views, time on site, etc.). This helps us measure performance and improve our content and layout.
  • Advertising: Cookies allow us and our advertising partners (like Google AdSense) to deliver ads that are more relevant to you and to limit the number of times you see the same ad. They also help measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.

Cookies may be set either by our Site (“first-party cookies”) or by third-party services we use (“third-party cookies”). For example, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to collect traffic data, and Google AdSense may set cookies to personalize ads.

Your Cookie Choices: You have the ability to control or limit how cookies are used on your devices:

  • Browser Settings: Most web browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. You can usually find these options in the “Preferences,” “Settings,” or “Privacy” menu of your browser. Refer to your browser’s help documentation for instructions on how to manage cookies. Keep in mind that if you disable cookies entirely, some features of our Site (such as preference settings or analytics) may not function properly.
  • Cookie Banners/Consent: If you are in a jurisdiction that requires cookie consent (like the EU/EEA), you may see a cookie notice when you first visit our Site. By clicking accept or by continuing to use our Site, you signify your consent to the usage of cookies as described in this Policy (unless you’ve disabled them via your browser).
  • Do Not Track: Our Site currently does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals from browsers. However, you can use the other opt-out methods described in this Policy to control data collection.

For more detailed information about cookies and how to manage or delete them, you can visit informational websites such as AllAboutCookies.org, or (for EU users) YourOnlineChoices.eu, which provide guidance on cookie settings and opt-outs.

6. Google Analytics (Website Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our Site. Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google that uses cookies and similar technologies to collect data about website usage. The information collected through Google Analytics includes data such as:

  • Your device’s IP address (which may be used to infer your general location),
  • Browser type and operating system,
  • Pages you visit on our Site and the time you spend on them,
  • The referring site or URL that led you to our Site, and
  • Other information about your interactions (such as clicks and scrolls).

Google Analytics collects this information and stores it on Google’s servers (Google may use servers in the United States or other countries for this purpose). Google uses the data to provide us with reports and analysis about Site traffic and usage. This helps us understand aggregate user behavior and improve our Site (for example, by identifying which pages are popular or if users encounter errors on certain pages).

We have configured Google Analytics in a way that does not reveal your identity to us. We do not obtain your name, email, or other directly identifiable information through Google Analytics – only statistical information that helps us improve our services. Google may use the collected data strictly for providing analytics services to us and for improving their analytics platform, and will not share it with other parties except as required by law or to maintain the service.

Google Analytics Opt-Out: If you do not want Google Analytics to collect information about your website visits, you have several options:

  • Browser Opt-Out Plugin: Google provides an official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on that you can install on your browser. This add-on prevents the Google Analytics script (ga.js/analytics.js) from sharing information about visit activity. You can download and install the add-on for your browser here.
  • Disable Cookies: As mentioned above, you can configure your browser to block or delete cookies, including the cookies used by Google Analytics. Note that doing this may affect the functionality of not only our Site but other websites as well.
  • Ad Blockers/Privacy Tools: Using an ad-blocking browser extension or privacy tool that blocks trackers can also impede Google Analytics. Ensure you understand the scope of what these tools block to avoid unintended effects on website functionality.

For more information on how Google Analytics collects and processes data, you can review Google’s own policies, such as “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services” and Google’s Privacy Policy.

7. Google AdSense and Advertising

Our website is supported in part by advertising. We use Google AdSense, a third-party advertising network provided by Google, to display ads on our Site. Please note the following important information about how advertising works on our Site:

Third-Party Ad Cookies: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to our website or other websites. In other words, if you’ve visited certain sites before, cookies may enable relevant ads related to those sites or interests to appear on Claude-AI.Chat.

Personalized Ads: Google’s use of advertising cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our Site and/or other sites on the Internet. These cookies help build a profile of your interests so that the ads you see are more useful to you. For example, if you frequently visit sites about technology, you might see tech-related advertisements.

  • Opting Out of Personalized Ads: You have the choice to disable personalized advertising if you prefer. Users may opt out of personalized ads by visiting Google’s Ads Settings, where you can adjust your advertising preferences for your Google account and browser. Alternatively, you can opt out of certain third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative’s opt-out page or the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out site (aboutads.info). These industry organizations offer a centralized way to opt-out of interest-based ads from participating companies.

Non-Personalized Ads: If you opt out of personalization, Google AdSense (and other ad networks) may still serve you ads, but they will be non-personalized. Non-personalized ads are targeted using contextual information (for example, the content of the page you are viewing, or general location based on your IP) rather than user behavior profiling. Please note that even with non-personalized ads, cookies might still be used for capping the frequency of ads, aggregated ad reporting, and to combat fraud and abuse.

Other Advertising Partners: While our primary ad partner is Google, we may in the future work with other advertising networks or partners. If we have not opted out of allowing third-party ad networks, that means other third-party vendors or ad networks may also use cookies to serve ads on our site, which we will disclose in our policy. We will provide appropriate notice or updates if additional ad partners are introduced. You can visit those third-party vendors’ sites to opt out of cookies for personalized ads (if they offer this capability) or use the industry opt-out sites mentioned above for a broader opt-out.

Data Collected by Ads: Advertisers and ad-serving companies may collect information from your interaction with the ads on our Site. This can include cookie identifiers, your IP address, information about your browser or device, and your interaction with the ad (e.g., if you clicked on an ad). This information is used to provide aggregated ad reporting, measure the effectiveness of ads, and ensure that ads are not repeatedly shown to you. We do not share any directly identifying personal data (like your name or email) with advertisers. However, by displaying ads on our Site, your browser automatically makes a request to the advertiser’s servers, which will receive some of the information described above as part of that request.

For more details on Google’s advertising practices, you can review Google’s advertising privacy policies (see [How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services] and [Google Ads Privacy]). We strive to comply with Google AdSense policies and relevant privacy laws in our use of advertising. If you have questions about the ads you see on our Site, feel free to contact us.

8. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR, CCPA, and Other Regions)

We recognize that privacy laws differ around the world, and we aim to honor the rights afforded to users in various jurisdictions. Depending on your residency, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal data:

Rights for EEA/UK Users (GDPR): If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK data protection law. These include:

  • Right to Be Informed: You have the right to be informed about the collection and use of your personal data (which is the purpose of this Privacy Policy).
  • Right of Access: You can request confirmation of whether we are processing your personal data, and if so, request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: If any personal data we have about you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request that we correct or update it.
  • Right to Erasure: You can ask us to delete your personal data in certain circumstances – for example, if the data is no longer necessary for the purposes it was collected, or if you withdraw consent and no other legal basis for processing exists. This is sometimes called the “right to be forgotten”. (Note: This right is not absolute and may be subject to exceptions under applicable law.)
  • Right to Restrict Processing: You have the right to request that we limit the processing of your personal data in certain situations – such as while we verify or address a concern you have about the accuracy of the data or our lawful basis for processing it.
  • Right to Data Portability: You are entitled to request a copy of certain personal data in a commonly used, machine-readable format, and to have that information transmitted to another data controller where technically feasible. This typically applies to data processed by us with your consent or for the performance of a contract with you.
  • Right to Object: You may object to our processing of your personal data when the processing is based on our legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes. For example, you have an absolute right to object to your personal data being used for marketing; if you object, we will stop using your data for that purpose. You can also object if processing has a disproportionate impact on your rights.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: If we are processing your personal data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, and it will not affect processing of your personal data under other legal bases.
  • Right to Complain: You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority in your country if you believe we have infringed your privacy rights. We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concerns directly before you do this, so please consider reaching out to us first.

Rights for California Residents (CCPA/CPRA): If you are a resident of California, you are protected by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). These laws provide you with specific rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • Right to Know: You have the right to request that we disclose what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell (if applicable) about you. This includes the categories of personal information, the categories of sources, our purposes for collecting the information, the categories of third parties with whom we share it, and the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to Access: (Related to Right to Know) You can request a copy of the specific personal information we have collected about you in the 12 months preceding your request.
  • Right to Deletion: You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you (subject to certain exceptions allowed by law). If you ask us to delete your data, we will also direct our service providers to delete your information from their records, where required.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: You have the right to direct us not to sell your personal information to third parties. Note: Claude-AI.Chat does not sell personal data, and we do not share personal information for monetary value. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in a manner that would be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under California law. Nonetheless, if you have concerns about this, you may contact us to further confirm that we do not sell your data.
  • Right to Correct: (Effective January 1, 2023 under CPRA) You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: We do not collect or process sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger this right under CPRA. If that changes, California users would have the right to limit certain uses of sensitive data.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. This means, for example, we will not deny you our services, charge you a different price, or provide a lesser quality of service because you exercised your rights. If you feel you have experienced any form of discrimination after exercising your privacy rights, please notify us.

Exercising Your Rights: To exercise any of the rights above, please contact us using the information in the Contact Us section (Section 11) of this Policy. You may be required to provide information to verify your identity (such as responding to an email or providing additional details) before we fulfill your request, in order to protect your data from unauthorized access. We will respond to privacy rights requests within the timeframe required by law. For California residents, if you would like an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, please contact us for instructions; we will require the agent to provide proof of your written permission and may still ask you to verify your identity directly.

Please note that these rights are not absolute. In certain cases, we may legally decline your request (for example, if fulfilling a deletion request would interfere with our legal obligations, or if we cannot verify your identity). However, we will explain any such denial and the reasoning behind it.

9. Data Security

We take data security seriously and have implemented industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include technical safeguards (like encryption and secure protocols), organizational measures (like limiting access to personal data to authorized personnel), and physical protections where applicable.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Thus, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. You should also take care with how you handle and disclose your personal data and credentials. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of an account you have with us has been compromised), please immediately contact us.

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and/or the appropriate regulatory authorities as required by applicable law.

10. External Links and Third-Party Services

Our Site may contain links to external websites or integrate third-party services and content that are not operated by us. For example, we might link to references, articles, or the official Claude AI service, and our pages may include content from other platforms. Please note that this Privacy Policy applies only to Claude-AI.Chat. Once you click a link to leave our Site or engage with a third-party service, we have no control over the privacy practices or content of the external site.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services that are linked to or integrated with our Site. Those websites have their own privacy policies, which we recommend you review. If you visit an external site by clicking a link on Claude-AI.Chat, any data you provide to that site will be governed by that site’s privacy policy, not ours.

Nonetheless, we aim to only partner with or direct our users to trustworthy and reputable sites. If you find that a site we link to is unsafe or misleading, we welcome you to notify us.

11. Children’s Privacy

Claude-AI.Chat is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use this Site or provide any information about yourself (such as your name, email, or other details). If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take prompt steps to delete that information from our records.

For teens under the age of majority (e.g., under 18 in most jurisdictions), we advise using our Site only with parental or guardian supervision. While we focus on providing educational content about AI and not inappropriate material, it’s important that minors have guidance online.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child under 13 may have provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately (see the Contact Us section below). We will investigate and, if applicable, delete any such information as required by applicable laws like the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update or revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. Any changes will be effective when we post the updated Privacy Policy on this page. When we do so, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy to indicate the date of the revisions. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.

If we make material changes to this Policy (for example, if we start collecting additional personal data or using data in a significantly new way), we will provide a more prominent notice of the change, such as by posting a notice on our homepage or informing users via email when required. Your continued use of the Site after any changes to this Privacy Policy signifies your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree with any updates to the Policy, you should stop using our Site and contact us if you wish to remove your data.
